Scarecrows and shows in Billinghay
Saturday is Lincolnshire Day and, in celebration, residents are invited to design their very own Lincolnshire-themed scarecrow.
The entry deadline has now passed, but new entries – not subject to judging – are still welcome. Judging will take place from noon on Saturday, and entries can be placed from Friday onwards.

Hide AdThe Old Mills Crafts trophy will be awarded to the best entry, with prizes for second and third place. A people’s favourite category has also been introduced this year.
Northumberland Theatre Company will be paying a visit to Billinghay Community Group on Saturday, October 8, with its new show.
How To Make A Killing in Bollywood is a musical comedy which lasts two-and-a-half hours, with a 15-minute interval with refreshments at a small charge.
