Fish and chip firm to grant Christmas wish
The Elite Fish and Chip Company, in Sleaford, Ruskington and Lincoln, is to repeat its Christmas Wish competition first run last year.
Customers will be asked to fill in special postcards at Elite’s restaurants with their very own Christmas.

Hide AdElite owner Donna Tweedale said: “Our 2014 competition attracted so many entries and a real variety of wishes.
“We welcome people of all ages to tell us what they want for Christmas. Who knows what wishes could come true?”
Last year’s competition enabled 91-year-old war veteran Arthur Harrison, from Lincoln, to fly to Norway to visit the grave of his brother who was killed in action in the Second World War.
Arthur was joined on the trip by his son-in-law Trevor Fox and grandson Robert Crosbie. The trip to Norway in May 2015 was organised and funded by Elite.

Hide AdDonna added: “We received nearly 400 wishes last year, but Arthur’s wish really moved us. We had set the prize limit at £250, but when we chose Arthur’s wish we wanted to fund whatever it would cost to help him visit where his brother is buried.”
The competition closes on January 3.
The winning entry will be chosen and announced on Friday, January 8.
