Youngsters see red at Grasby
Children and staff of Grasby Primary School wore red to support a campaign by the Children's Heart Surgery Fund.
After seeing a clip highlighting the work done by staff at Leeds General Infirmary, where one of the school’s pupils was treated as a baby, they wanted to do something to offer their support.
The money raised will go to the hospital’s ‘Keeping the Beat’ campaign, which aims to raise £500,000 to build a new children’s heart theatre.
Everyone donated £1 to wear red, helping to raise a total of £167.
