NOSTALGIA: Power to the pupils on Thursday afternoons at Boston-area school 50 years ago
This was the scene at William Lovell School, Stickney, 50 years ago during a Thursday ‘options afternoon’.
This was a weekly opportunity for pupils to get into groups and pursue an interest of their choice.
Examples of activities chosen included radio broadcasting, nature study, and, as pictured above, hockey and football.
