Boston College job fair attracts record number of employers
The fair offered people the opportunity to find out about recruitment, apply for job vacancies, get guidance and advice and discover more about further education.
The event was held at the Peter Paine Performance Centre, on Rosebery Avenue..

Hide AdBoston College’s Employability Support Manager, Donna Garrard, said: “Boston College have hosted another successful jobs fair, with a record number of varied employers/providers all offering support as well as job opportunities, and providing the chance for attendees to apply for vacancies and have interviews on site.
“Boston College’s Employability Advisors have also been on hand giving out information regarding college courses and upskilling opportunities.”
The fair was organised by Boston College and the Job Centre, in partnership with Nacro, Boston Borough Council and NHS Talent Academy.
l Clarification: The report originally stated that MP for Boston and Skegness Matt Warman opened this event. However, Mr Warman’s office have since confirmed that although he was due to do so, he was called away to another meeting at the last moment and instead attended at the jobs fair later that morning.
