Drink driver who answered call for lift from sister is banned
Craig Alan Hudson, 36, of Churchill Avenue Skegness, was stopped by police, who had been told he might be 'in drink', in Marsh Lane, Orby on December 21, and found that his alcohol reading was 64 microgrammes, the legal limit being 35.
Helen Coney, mitigating, said his sister had asked him for a lift because she could not get a taxi home and, although he rang round himself to try and find one, eventually went to pick her up.

Hide AdShe said a long period of disqualification would have a serious impact on his employment and the magistrates imposed a 12 month ban, but offered the drink drivers' rehabilitation course which will reduce the period of the ban by three months.
He was also fined £350 and ordered to pay £120 in court costs and charges.
