East Midlands: Ambulance service needs improving, says CQC report
The inspection started on January 29th of this year and lasted two weeks and identified that four of the six areas investigated need further work.
The report said that improvements had been made since the last inspection in March 2013 such as responses to less urgent calls, infection control and cleaning of vehicles.

Hide AdSue Noyes, chief executive, said: “The findings of the report reflect that EMAS is well-underway in delivering an organisation-wide improvement programme.”
The report also stated work needs to continue to ensure that more qualified staff are in the right place at the right time and to offer best staff support with clear career progression.
Sue added: “I am confident that our improvement plans will meet the areas identified.”
