ELDC councillors give grants to good causes
Coun Stuart Watson (Tetney) awarded £1000 to North Cotes Village Hall and Playing Field, in order to replace and repair damaged areas of the hall and playground and fit a defibrillator to the hall.
He also awarded £500 to Hoop Stars Hotwheels Wheelchair Basketball Club to purchase a number of basketballs and competition kit. Coun Pauline Watson (Louth) also awarded £500 to the club.

Hide AdCoun Pauline Watson also teamed up with Coun Adam Grist (Legbourne) to award £320 to Louth & District Disability Archery Club to replace worn out targets.
Louth councillors Fran Treanor, Jill Makinson-Sanders, Sarah Dodds and Ros Jackson together awarded £480 to Louth Croquet Club to create a new club based at Charles Street Recreation Ground, and the grant will help towards the purchase of a variety of equipment. Couns Dodds and Jackson also teamed up to award £1,000 to St Michael’s Playgroup to provide an online tapestry learning project.
Coun Alan Vassar (Willoughby and Sloothby) awarded £300 to Willoughby and District History Group to produce a newsletter and create a website.
Coun Daniel McNally (Marshchapel and Somercotes) awarded £249 to Skidbrooke with Saltfleet Haven Parish Council to purchase a shed and equipment for the craft group at The Chapel, Saltfleet.
