Major road through Skegness to re-open over Christmas and New Year
Major reconstruction works along Roman Bank will pause for 11 days starting on Thursday, December 24, with the project set to resume on Monday, January 4.
Coun Richard Davies, executive member for highways, said: "We've decided to re-open Roman Bank from Christmas Eve to just after New Year's Day to make it easier for people in town to get around town during the holidays.

"Our works here are continuing ahead at a strong and steady pace, and the team will be ready to continue that momentum in the new year, with a view to having the road fully back open by Easter."
The £4.8m scheme is being co-funded by £3.6m from the Department for Transport's Challenge Fund and £1.2m from Lincolnshire County Council.
