Event addresses need to keep young talent
Mr Taylor said: “We are working with Sleaford businesses to build a link with education to get young people to understand what Sleaford businesses do and what skilled people they need.
“We are addressing the 80 per cent ‘brain drain’ of young talent from the town, to hold onto that and enhance the community.”

Hide AdSleaford Quality Foods were getting children to use taste and smell to mix different ingredients to make dips from their products. Butlers electrical did a ‘powerful’ demonstration, SHD helped the children use layers to make bookmarks and Moy Park explained the computer programming and coding needed in their production process.
Looking back at the town’s manufacturing past were Sleaford Navigation Trust, Sleaford Museum and Carlight Caravans, who had a more than 50-year-old tourer donated by a former customer on show.
The amazing variety included a fascinator maker, Kiowa pipe makers, Eco2 energy plant, White and Sentance pianos, Bridge Instruments who make electronic stringedinstruments, DPS digital printers and Northmark furniture makers.
Food and drink was on offer, including coffee and cake by Millers Bar raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Care.
