Gainsborough man charged with robbery, assault and possession of a weapon
Dean Roberts, of Apley Close, Gainsborough, has been charged with theft twice, assault by beating, robbery, and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
Police appealed for witnesses following the robbery on Heapham Road, Gainsborough.

Hide AdThe victim was walking to work, in the direction of the town centre at 7am on 18 July, when he was approached by another man.
A police spokesman said: "The man, who was described as wearing a grey hooded top, with a face mask or scarf covering the lower half of his face, and riding a BMX cycle, took the victims phone, cigarettes and bank card. The phone has now been found.
"It was reported that the man produced a knife while demanding money from the victim."
