'˜Lost Words' book to celebrate British wildlife is gifted to Sleaford school
Children at William Alvey School are being encouraged to celebrate the natural world and words used to describe it thanks to the donation of a special book.
Anthea Ashmore from the Sleaford branch of Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust visited the school to donate ‘The Lost Words’ book, written by Robert Macfarlane and illustrated by Jackie Morris.
The trust is giving a copy to every school in the county.
