New Community Beat Manager for Louth Rural Police
PC Clark has just a few days left as the area’s Community Beat Manager, based at the police station in Holton le Clay and covering an area of around 200 square miles.
This area stretches from as north as Holton le Clay and as south as Scamblesby and Oxcombe, as far west as Hainton and South Willingham, and as far east as Saltfleet and North Somercotes.

Hide AdPC Clark has been showing PC Precious the ropes over the last few days before handing over the role, as PC Precious prepares to get back into community policing after spending many years working in other areas, including Lincolnshire’s Roads Policing Unit and East Midlands Operational Support Services (EMOpSS).
PC Precious, who is from the local area, said that he is “relishing the opportunity” to get back into community policing, particularly in an area that he knows so well. He will also be involved in continuing the hard work of Operation Aardwolf, which tackles rural crime in Lincolnshire.
Meanwhile, PC Clark’s farewell afternoon tea at Holton le Clay’s village hall last week was a success, with 60-80 people turning up to say goodbye and wish him good luck for the future.
