University sessions for Science Week
Starting on Monday, March 8, the University of Lincoln is offering a week-long schedule of inspiring and interactive lectures spanning subjects such as computer science, robotics, medicine, psychology, engineering, food production, astrophysics, mathematics and geography.
Delivered by expert academics and scientists, sessions will be available to watch on YouTube and include ‘Evolution of the Dinosaurs’, ‘Fantastic Worlds and Where to Find Them’ and ‘A Career in Space Engineering’.

Hide AdProfessor Libby John, Pro Vice Chancellor and Head of the University’s College of Science, said: “We are delighted to showcase some of the amazing work we do here at the University of Lincoln as part of British Science Week.
“Here at Lincoln, our students have the opportunity to learn from, and work alongside, expert staff whose work has a tangible impact on society. Our academics are working at the forefront of their disciplines, ranging from innovative research to develop new uses for robots in farming to ground-breaking studies in climate change and meteorology.”
There has been a significant expansion in science at the University in recent years, with the Lincoln Medical School and the newly established Lincoln International Institute for Rural Health, as well as the Lincoln Institute for Agri-food Technology
