Police ask for help in battle against vandals in Skegness
Cars have been one of the main targets, with seven vehicles damaged, including a smashed windscreen, along Sandbeck Avenue in one of the latest incidents on Sunday, May 8.
Coastal inspector Colin Haigh said: “This is mindless criminal damage.

Hide Ad“It inconveniences someone massively the next day but there is no point in it.
“I’d like to appeal to members of the public to be vigilant when leaving their vehicles.
“Park under a street lamp if possible, do not leave anything like satnavs or bags on view and, if there are tools in the back of a van, put something in the windscreen to obstruct the view.
“If anyone spots anything suspicious, please call us on 101.”
Statistics for the coastal area up to April 28 show a slight increase in crime of 4.4 per cent, resulting in 13 additional crimes, based on three-year monthly averages.
