Police chief praises '˜unsung heroes' of local teams
Mr Tyner released information on his Twitter account @ChInsp_JimTyner about a series of incidents as ‘examples of hard work’ by the teams which he said were keeping people ‘#SummerSafe’.
He said there were: 54 calls for service between 9pm and 7am on Saturday, such as seven traffic related incidents incl three Road Traffic Collisions, four concerns for welfare, a missing person and 20 calls linked to violence or domestic abuse.

The incidents, as written by Mr Tyner, included:
l On Saturday night a 46 y/o man was arrested in Mablethorpe for #domesticabuse assault #alcoholharm
l On Saturday night a 34 y/o man was arrested for #domesticabuse assault in Skegness. #alcoholharm
l At midnight on Saturday a 31 y/o man was arrested in Ingoldmells for #domesticabuse assault

l 3:45am Sunday a 31 y/o woman was arrested in Skegness for #domesticabuse assault. She was charged & bailed to court
l At 6am Sunday morning a 26 y/o man was arrested in Wainfleet for drink/drive following RTC. Blew 46 (limit 35). Charged. #Fatal4
Mr Tyner concluded by writing: “Much of the work of @SkegnessPolice @MaboAlfordPol is while most of us are sleeping. To me they are #unsungheroes every shift
“In most cases of violence the offender & victims know each other. @SkegnessPolice work with #NOVA partners to tackle.”
