Pupils from Spilsby fill hall with poppies to mark Remembrance Day
Spilsby Primary School took part in a project led by the Mayor Coun Mark Gale by contributing to an exhibition in the Franklin Hall.
Mel Standbrook, Local Advisory Board chairman at the school, said: “We were asked by the Mayor at Spilsby if the pupils would make an exhibit for commemorations to celebrate 100 years since the end of World War One.

Hide Ad“We have completed a whole school art project for display in the Franklin hall.
“Our poppies at lunchtime today have been delivered into our local community for everyone to see and enjoy over the weekend.
“We love being involved with community projects and the children are very proud of their creations to support a very important weekend.”
