Spilsby Scouts growing with community's help
The 2nd Spilsby Scouts are celebrating a donation from a local firm of solicitors, Sills & Betteridge, which has been used to replace fire extinguishers that needed renewing.
Their ultimate goal will see a revamp of the boys’ toilets, which would need new linoleum and a fresh layer or paint, an update of the heating system and insulation of the building.

Hide AdSills & Betteridge made a £100 donation to the 2nd Spilsby Scout Group to help them in their quest.
Group Scout Leader Gemma Holland said: “We are very grateful for the generosity from Sills & Betteridge, although we are a growing group and still need the support of our local community to help us achieve our goals.
“This went a long way in helping us achieve one of them, thank you”.
Kirsty Baxter, of Sills & Betteridge, said: “We are very pleased to be able to help the 2nd Spilsby Scouts in their efforts to make safety improvements to their building and were delighted to go along, meet the cubs, and present the fire extinguishers to them.”

Currently around 56 children that attend our group, as well as a great team of leaders, assistants and parent helpers.
