Station art a platform for learning at Rasen
Members of the Flare programme at CLIP (Community Learning in Partnership) have spent the last two months producing the work, which is now on display in the waiting room on the Lincoln platform.
The students used black and white photographs of Market Rasen, taken at the turn of the century, as inspiration for the piece.

“The students each played a role in the creation of the picture, from cutting out hundreds of leaves to the meticulous drawing of outlines,” said Course tutor, Liz Stradling,
“The piece will be seen by many visitors as they pass through the station.
“It’s a brilliant piece of work and we were honoured to be asked to take part in this great community project.
