Students wow bigwigs with live radio show
On Thursday March 10, Lewis Howard took on the role of presenter and dazzled the regular hosts and producers - even leading a BBC Regional Director to mistake Lewis for one of their own presenters due to his confident persona.
Jess Baxter and Hollie Frampton presented a live weather bulletin, and interviewed local businesswoman Pip Molloy from Damselfly about the changing nature of Louth’s high street.

Hide AdBen Jaques-Ross, Jazmyn Urry and Tom Fussey interviewed Look North’s Peter Levy about his career.
Mr Levy later complimented the students’ clarity and excellent questioning skills, and gave them some great advice on launching a media career.
Jamie Warrilow and Robert Marshall were the brains behind the mixing and production of the show, working alongside the professionals to ensure that everything ran smoothly.
A school spokeswoman said: “All eight were a credit to the Academy in terms of their behaviour and their skills live on air. The team at the BBC were staggered at how smoothly the show went.
“A huge well done to them for their hard work and effort throughout the project.”
