The Meridian Singers in Louth perform loud and proud for The Queen
It was held in celebration of the Queen’s 90th Birthday.
The songs, readings and poems paid tribute to the Queen’s life.
It touched on many aspects of her life, which are known to be very important to her which included her love of horses, the devotion to her country, her inclusion of all and her pleasure in being ‘Our Queen.’

Hide AdThe Meridian Singers performed with their usual enthusiasm and enjoyment.
They presented a varied and challenging program, showing a dedication to entertainment through words and song.
This was accompanied in some instances with relevant props and drama, fitting of this special occasion.
The concert was also set up to help raise funds for The Prince’s Trust, which is celebrating it’s 40th Anniversary this year.

Hide AdIt was central to the evening’s entertainment and the audience were made aware of the real difference The Prince’s Trust has made to many people in the local area by Trudy Roberts, programme executive.
A substantial donation is to be made to the Trust by The Meridian Singers.
From the ‘flag wavers’ to the ‘Union Jack and Patriotic bow-tie’ wearers, the evening left everyone with a feeling of pride in Our Queen and in all things patriotic.
