Village shop in Donington on Bain salutes the Queen's birthday
Jenny Ward, who has run the shop for 43 years, is always keen to create window displays to mark special occasions.
In the past she has done displays to celebrate the Golden Jubilee, the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, the births of Prince George and Princess Charlotte and when the Queen became the longest-reigning monarch last year.

“I am always awake at night, thinking what other window displays I can do.
“It’s like another job in itself, but I love doing them.”
Despite her long service in the shop, Ms Ward is not intending to retire any time soon. “I want to run the shop for as long as I phyiscally can,” she said. “ Like the Queen, I just keep going.”
Ms Ward sent off some photos of her window displays to the Queen, and received a letter back from Buckingham Palace.
