Were you at Market Rasen Secondary Modern?
The chance to catch up with an old school pal she had lost touch with has led one Rasen woman to look at getting more friends back together again.
When Anita Goodyear met up with her friend Christine, who had both attended Market Rasen Secondary Modern School, she says the years just dropped away.

“Then, I thought how nice it would be to see all those people we had been talking about again.”
After putting a tentative suggestion on Facebook, Anita says she was amazed at the response.
She said: “It really took off, it was incredible.
“At first we were thinking of just getting our year together, but now we are opening it up to anyone who went to the Secondary Modern at any tine at all.”

“We are also looking to get in touch with any teachers that are still around,” she said.
“We know of a couple still living locally, but if anyone is still in contact with any teachers - or pupils for that matter - who have moved away it would be great if they could tell them about our event.
“The teachers will be our guests, so they won’t have to pay the ticket price.

The Secondary Modern Reunion, 1937 to 1974, will take place on Saturday August 12 at Market Rasen Golf Club.
Already, 86 tickets have been sold for the event, which will start at 7pm and go on until late.
The tickets cost £15 each, which includes a buffet and music.

Anyone with any pictures, books, things they made at school or even report cards are asked to let Anita know what they have.
“We are really looking forward to the reunion,” said Anita. “We have people coming from all over the place - even someone from Australia - so I think it is going to be a great event.”
For tickets and for offers of items to be lent for the display, contact Anita on 07874 776206.
