Louth Taverners open cup campaign with quick win at Tetford
Having been beaten by Tetford on their last visit in the league, Louth were looking for revenge, but also a morale-boosting win for the club after defeats for all three senior teams on Saturday.
After winning the toss, Tetford decided to bat first on a beautiful sunny day, but it proved a good toss for Louth to lose as Imran Cheema’s swing bowling claimed the first wicket in the first over with the score on 0, courtesy of Tom Ryder’s neat catch.

Tavs started the chase in an aggressive fashion with Zeeshan Ahmed looking to punish any loose deliveries.
Louth lost their first wicket at 33 when Tom Law was bowled by Roberts for four.
