Hide AdThis was a confident performance by Friendship F C and they already look assured of being in contention for the title. Reigning champions Mattersey F C made it three from three with a 5-0 home win over Rose & Crown who were also defeated for the first time in a League game.
When at full strength Mattersey are a very formidable team and one everyone else will have to beat to take the title, this was a very good performance in difficult conditions.
Owston Ferry Sports Club and Elm Cottage had a real end to end attacking game which finished at 4-4 and both will feel they might have come out on top but the draw was a fair return for both.
B F C Clumber made it a sixth straight defeat for Misterton United winning 3-1 and while it was a deserved win Misterton United can be proud of the way the played in defeat. Retford Rail’s topsy turvy season continued with one of their better performances in a 6-1 away win at Kings Arms who were very disappointing on this wet Sunday Morning. Retford Rail seem to be both very good and very ordinary depending on what team they can field on the day.
