Rasen and Louth RFC defeat Bugbrooke to boost survival bid
Market Rasen and Louth RFC boosted their hopes of avoiding relegation from Midlands One East with a bonus point win over Bugbrooke on Saturday.
The Red and Greens beat the Northamptonshire side 30-10 in their penultimate home match of the season.
Tries from Greg Wise, Scott Brown, Jake Pryer and a Jake Goodison penalty gave the hosts a 20-10 half-time lead before Rob Batterbury got the all-important fourth try late on.
The victory kept Rasen and Louth 11th, four points above third-bottom Newark with six matches left.
