Sleaford fish and chip restaurant to welcome 1940s singer festive return performance
Having performed at the Elite back in June for Armed Forces Day, the ‘40s-themed singer is to bring some festive cheer to the fish and chip restaurant on Saturday December 10.
As with the last live music event, the Elite is to give all profits to the firm’s chosen charity of the year, the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal. Last time the customers, suppliers and restaurant managed to raise an impressive £1,686.60 and bosses are hoping the Christmas spirit will raise even more this time.

Manager at the Sleaford restaurant Rachel Tweedale said: “We had such great fun last time Heather Marie performed in the restaurant. People were dancing and singing along and it made for a great atmosphere.
“To have her come back to play a set that will include Christmas classics is brilliant. We’d love to see as many people joining in with the singing and raising as much as we can for charity.”
Heather Marie, who performs alongside her husband Matthew as part of her act, added: “We had such an amazing night last time we visited Elite. The reaction was great and I’m so glad to make my return for a Christmas-themed evening.”
